Enclosed are a few of the damage photos to our home from the McAdoo Borough Sewer Authority and their contractor Marks Contracting, LTD. The Pottsville District Mining Office of the PA DEP deliberately conducted a corrupt and incomplete investigation. We believe that the illegal blasting allowed by DEP was calculated and premeditated by all parties involved allowing the contractor a window of several months to complete their illegal task. By allowing this contractor a window of opportunity to blast near our home that was forbidden under law saved this state mandated sewer project thousands of dollars.
It is difficult to capture all of the damage caused by this illegal blasting in a photo. Damage like the entire tongue and groove floor boards squeaking throughout the house and hairline cracks visible in exposed framing are difficult to capture in a photo and publish. Compounded to the original damage from the blast is neglect to our home from years of waiting for this to be resolved. As an example my son’s bedroom borders the chimney damaged from the blast and we are unable to fix the damage caused to his bedroom ceiling from a leaky roof.

Here are a few of the damage photos to our home from the McAdoo Borough Sewer Authority. Also included are a couple of the before and after photos. These photos were difficult to acquire because none of the residents were informed as to which house was to be blasted and an exact date.

This was the first power point presentation made in defense of our home. DEP corrupt investigation said that they could not find any evidence that would support unsubstantiated blasting. I spent weeks pouring over a video tape that I shot from that day. On my home computer I downloaded the analog video into a digital format; each frame represented a snapshot of that day’s activity. This presentation was sent to DEP for evidence and they dismissed and discarded this as evidence. Later after reviewing my files at the Pottsville District Mining Office this evidence that was sent had vanished and DEP refused to tell me why.

After years of suffering while waiting for Travelers insurance to sort through the mountain of lies we were forced to accept an inspection from their engineer, Vibra-Tech. We demanded a different engineer because of a conflict of interest but were forced by Travelers and our own lawyer to accept this biased inspection. Outraged form the conclusion I made this PowerPoint presentation and sent this to all of the parties involved. It helps to explain the obstacles that my family has had to overcome from this corrupt investigation.
